Harrington HealthCare at Charlton
Our Charlton Medical Office Building, known as Harrington HealthCare at Charlton, is another example of providing Total Local Care to the communities we serve. This 20,000 square-foot building, at the intersection of Route 20 East and North Main Street (next to the CVS) features a 1,600-square-foot MRI operation, staffed by Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center radiologists.
The second floor of the campus houses primary care physicians employed by Harrington Physician Services: Martin Devine, Elizabeth Fuller, Brenda Geddis-Comrie, Asma Islam and Leah Doret. In addition, speciality physicians, including orthopedics and vascular care, rotate through the offices on a weekly basis for patient consultations.
The building also includes behavioral health offices, digital mammography, X-Ray and ultrasound machines, bone density and a blood-drawing station for a phlebotomy lab. There is a rehabilitation department for physical and occupational therapy, and an intensive wound care program, where patients with difficult-to-heal wounds are treated, including with two hyperbaric oxygen chambers. The nearest hospitals that treat patients with hyperbaric oxygen are in Boston, Concord and Gardner.
