The Network Administrator's responsibilities are to design, implement, organize, and maintain the network infrastructure of Harrington Healthcare System. Network Administrator will manage all server hardware and network components to maximize system utilization and efficiency, plan for network upgrades, coordinate system design and installation activities. Manage applications and software including, but not limited to, email system, archiving, network backup, antivirus and systems monitoring. In addition to a positive attitude, Network Administrator must have excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills. Network Administrator must exhibit the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, as well as plan and manage a variety of projects. Administrators must quickly learn new technologies and keep abreast of the latest technological advances. Network Administrator must provide superior support and service to a wide range of internal and external customers in addition to working collaboratively with other Information Technology staff.
Minimum of two (2) years experience in an institution of similar size and complexity.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003/2008 Server including Active Directory, Group Policies, File Security, DNS, DHCP
Experience with Microsoft Exchange 2003/2010/2013
Experience with Remote Access technologies i.e.: Citrix, Terminal Servers, VMware View
Experience with Storage Systems (SCSI, RAID, SATA, and SAN)
Must be familiar with Cisco Routers and Switches, Wi-Fi Wireless, Cabling, CAT6 Ethernet, and VOIP Telephone systems.
