Harrington Hospital's 2010 Health Assessment Survey Has Begun!
To our Valued Neighbor:
As your Total, Local healthcare organization, one of Harrington Hospital's core values is to offer education, information and resources to our diverse and rapidly growing communities. While we have positive relationships with senior centers, schools and area businesses, we want to make sure we are meeting as many needs as possible. We are asking for 5 to 10 minutes of your time to help us help you!
Harrington works annually with the state Attorney General's office to provide a report highlighting the outreach we have accomplished in the past year. In order to properly identify our community's needs, Harrington must complete a Health Assessment Survey every three years. This survey should identify a range of health assets and deficits, as well as regional demographics.
While some of this data can be collected from federal or state-level databases, we want to include your thoughts, opinions and information first-hand, including specific health-related topics.This is how we will know whether to focus on more diabetes education, or perhaps shift our attention to lung cancer or childhood obesity.
If you are a resident of Webster, Dudley, Oxford, Charlton, Southbridge, Sturbridge or Spencer, we are welcoming you to participate in a quick survey which will guide us through our community education and outreach over the next three years.
All it takes is 5 to 10 minutes. The survey is available in English and Spanish. All your answers will remain completely confidential.
