SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – March 11, 2015 – Dr. Anuradha (Anu) Shenoy-Bhangle has joined the team of Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) radiologists at Harrington HealthCare System.
Dr. Shenoy-Bhangle will work primarily at the Harrington Hospital campus in Southbridge as an abdominal imager.
She recently completed two fellowships in pediatric radiologist and abdominal imaging and intervention at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Since 2007, Harrington has maintained a relationship with BIDMC in which its Harvard Medical Faculty radiologists work on-site at Harrington and remotely to read and interpret imaging scans at all of Harrington’s main campus locations.
According to Ed Moore, Harrington President and CEO and Dr. Justin Kung, Harrington Chief of Radiology, the affiliation ensures accuracy and fast turnaround of tests, in addition to providing renowned clinical expertise to the Harrington community. Currently, nine BIDMC radiologists share time reading on-site and remotely for the healthcare system.
Dr. Shenoy-Bhangle received her medical degree from Mumbai, India, and joined the radiology faculty at New York Presbyterian Hospital/Columbia University after finishing her fellowships in 2014.
Between 2004 and 2007, she served as a consultant radiologist for the Wockhardt Group of Hospitals, a Harvard Medical International Affiliate in Mumbai, India.
In addition to a partnership with BIDMC, all pediatric imaging scans at Harrington HealthCare are read by radiologists from Children’s Hospital Boston.
