Please note that some patients request that we not provide any information and we will honor that request.Ā Harrington Memorial Hospital follows American Hospital Association guidelines, which require that media provide the hospital with a patient's full name before we can release condition information. The hospital will release a one-word condition report on the patient's status. For a copy of the guidelines click here.
- Good -- Vital signs are stable and within normal limits. Patient is conscious and comfortable. Indicators are excellent.
- Fair -- Vital signs are stable and within normal limits. Patient is conscious, but may be uncomfortable. Indicators are favorable.
- Serious -- Vital signs may be unstable and not within normal limits. Patient is acutely ill. Indicators are questionable.
- Critical -- Vital signs are unstable and not within normal limits. Patient may be unconscious. Indicators are unfavorable.
- Undetermined -- Patient awaiting physician and assessment.
