Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run

One in eight women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

Harrington is dedicated to reaching out into our community and educating about breast cancer awareness. We offer three locations with Gold Start Digital Mammography Services - Southbridge, Charlton and Webster. We are proud to provide you the best of the best in mammography and radiology services. Our innovative relationship with Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) allows us to offer the region’s most advanced and comprehensive diagnostic imaging services.

What better way to gather together and give back than to participate in our local Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run - one that holds character, compassion and community.

In 2010, we are proud to partner with the American Cancer Society (ACS) Making Strides for Breast Cancer Foundation. Making Strides is a non-competitive walk that unites communities to honor and celebrate breast cancer survivors, to educate women about prevention and early detection, and to raise money to help people stay well, get well, find cures, and fight back against the disease. Making Strides and Harrington already work together at our new Cancer Center to offer the Look Good...Feel Better workshops teach ways to help with the appearance-related side effects of active treatment.

Part of Harrington's proceeds will go back to our ACS local chapter.

The Harrington HealthCare Breast Cancer 5K Walk/Run will be held Sunday, Sept. 26 at 10 a.m. at the Bartlett High School track, 52 Lake Parkway, Webster, MA, (please note the new address!).
