Your family physician can refer you to the Sleep Disorders Lab for sleep testing or for a consultation with a physician who is a sleep specialist with training in sleep disorders. The physician can diagnose sleep disorders as well as prescribe a treatment plan. Although patients do “spend the night,” at the home-like lab, a sleep study is considered an outpatient procedure.* If you or someone you know suffers from a sleep disorder, please call the Hospital Sleep Disorders Lab at 508-765-9771 ext. 2615 for more information. We look forward to working with you and your primary care physician!
