SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – Art will be on the walls, artists will be in the halls, and light refreshments will be served as Harrington Hospital hosts an Art Reception 4:30 to 7 p.m., Thursday, May 27, at the hospital in Conference Rooms 1 and 2. The public is invited, as are hospital employees.
The reception will honor the artists whose work is on display at The Art Exhibit at Harrington. Come in through the main hospital entrance and we will guide you to the reception site, which is in the hallways where the art is on display.
There you will get to see all the artwork that is part of the exhibit, plus extra pieces artists have brought just for the reception. You will also get to meet the artists and talk with them about their work.
The Art Exhibit at Harrington is part of the hospitals outreach to the communities it serves. Harrington holds these exhibits four times a year, each three months in duration. The next exhibit, also featuring work from local artists, will run from June 1, 2010 through September 1, 2010. Artists wishing to be considered for the exhibit beginning in September 2010, or those who want to learn more about the hospitals art exhibits, should call 508-765-9771 ext. 6471 or send an email to ldilts@harringtonhospital.org. Deadline for submission of work for the exhibit beginning in September is August 5.
