Southbridge, Mass. – January 13, 2014 – There will be a free open house at Harrington Hospital on Wednesday, January 22 from 4-6 p.m. for high school students interested in a career in health care. The event is co-sponsored by Harrington HealthCare and the Boy Scouts of America Mohegan Council.
The Open House will be held in Conference Room 1 of the 100 South Street, Southbridge campus and is open to any student volunteer. Information will be offered about the monthly activities planned for January through May of this year.
The Health Sciences Exploring Program offers an opportunity to explore and learn about nursing, medicine, dentistry, radiology, laboratory science and pharmacy, among other fields. The program anticipates a continuing program with an annual participation fee of $24. Financial assistance is available to those who cannot afford the fee.
