Orthopedic Surgeon Young-Ho Oh, M.D., Joins Harrington Physician Services

SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – March 15, 2010 – Young-Ho Oh, M.D., an Orthopedic Surgeon with a subspecialty in Sports Medicine, has joined the Harrington HealthCare family as part of Harrington Physician Services.

Dr. Oh joins Harrington surgeons Joseph Veneziano and Charles Sommer as well as Physician Assistant John Arsenault at Harrington Hospitals Medical Arts Building, 100 South Street, Southbridge, Suite 108, and also will see patients at Harrington offices in Charlton and Webster. He is accepting new patients and can be reached at 508-764-2772.

“The hiring of Dr. Oh enhances Harringtons capabilities in surgery, and specifically in orthopedics and sports surgery,” said Edward Moore, Harringtons President and Chief Executive Officer. “Dr. Oh is well trained and has completed a fellowship in sports medicine. He also operates on shoulders, hips, knees and performs general orthopedic procedures, including arthroscopy, total joint replacements and fracture care. We are very pleased to have him join the Harrington HealthCare System.”

Dr. Oh comes to Harrington from MetroWest-Newton Wellesley Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, P.C., in Natick. He had previously worked for Framingham Orthopedic Associates, Inc., in Framingham. He received his degree in medicine from New York University School of Medicine, did his fellowship training at New York Medical Center-Hospital for Joint Diseases and his residency training at SUNY/Stony Brook University Hospital and Medical Center – Department of Orthopaedic Surgery. Dr. Oh is board certified by the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgeons in both Orthopedic Surgery and Sports Medicine and is the author of numerous publications on sports and orthopedic surgery issues.
