Effective March 1, 2018, the only MassHealth plan that Harrington Physician Services (HPS) Primary Care Providers now accepts is BMC Health Net Plan Community Alliance.
The only exceptions to this are:
• MassHealth Fee for Service (FFS) including patients over age 65 or with third-party coverage—this will come up as MassHealth Standard with no PCP, or MCO restrictions;
• Senior Care Options (SCO)
• Program of All-inclusive Care for the Elderly (PACE)

*There are some insurances listed which will not be accepted in certain HPS offices or within specific Harrington HealthCare System Departments. Patients need to verify with their insurance that the provider they are looking to see is considered ‘in-network’ for their particular plan. Please also contact your insurance company or physician’s office for the most up-to-date information and plan coverage, deductibles, coinsurance and other conditions of payment. This is a global list and is subject to change.

Current Visitor Policy
For the health and safety of our patients and employees, the following policy is in effect as of Monday, March 30
There will be NO visitors allowed in any inpatient or outpatient services (this includes the Emergency Department, Harrington Physician Services offices, and all other Harrington HealthCare Facilities)
Please note that the Main Lobby at Harrington Hospital in Southbridge will be closed at 7pm. All patients who need to enter the hospital after that time should come in through the ED.
The implementation of this policy is in an effort to limit the spread of potential illnesses that could be harmful to you, our patients, community, and staff. Thank you for your cooperation.
