They exerted extra effort to overcome rescheduling requirements resulting from late-in-the-day necessary verifications of placements of a vascular stent, cuff and plug, and, then, to cope with the tight timing for the reading of the MRI.

Darlene's 8-year-old granddaughter Serenity fractured her arm riding her 4-wheeler. A trip to the Harrington HealthCare emergency room in Webster confirmed the fracture and required orthopedic follow-up, and a day-procedure in Southbridge.

After being 8,600 miles apart for years, they are together – but finding strength in each other to battle an aggressive cancer diagnosis.

Kert Gallant grew up in Holland, MA, but once he met Jocelyn in the Philippines, he spent four years traveling back and forth between the two countries. After his cancer diagnosis, the couple struggled to remain strong when they were 8,600 miles apart -- until members of The Cancer Center at Harrington helped bring his family to the United States.

Living so close to Worcester, I had never really considered Harrington as an option, but I was pleasantly surprised.

Fifty-year-old Tom Johnson had completed 39 rounds of radiation and seven rounds of chemotherapy at UMass Memorial Medical Center that left him with painful wounds inside his throat.

When Harry Penniman agreed to build a garage for his daughter, he never even thought the work would cause a shoulder impingement. “I built a couple houses for myself over my lifetime and I guess I thought this was just another project,” he said with a small chuckle.
