Pregnancy and childbirth can bring a mix of excitement and uncertainty.
Harrington has announced a new collaborative agreement with Women’s Health of Central Massachusetts (WHCMA), who will be managing prenatal and obstetric care for patients in our community footprint, effective May 31, 2018.
WHCMA is the largest independent physician’s group in Central Massachusetts. Patients in the Southbridge/Sturbridge area and beyond will be able to schedule appointments in the practice’s newest office location at 164 South Street, Southbridge, adjacent to the main hospital campus.
Women’s Health of Central MA currently has offices on Shrewsbury Street in Worcester, Marlborough and Webster. The independent practice has 12 board-certified obstetricians and midwives, many of whom will be rotating to the Southbridge office. The group is very much looking forward to assuming pre- and postnatal care for Harrington’s obstetric patients.
Deliveries will continue to be performed at UMass Memorial Medical Center – Memorial Campus in Worcester.
