Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

The Harrington HealthCare System understands how personal problems and work issues can take a toll on employees and have an impact on an organizations bottom line. Harrington provides its employees and their household family members a confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) to help them deal with such issues. We also offer this service, on a contract basis, to employers of all sizes in the greater Southbridge area.

Our Employee Assistance Program, with offices in Southbridge and Webster, is a non-profit resource that has been in business since 1980.

We are able to provide our employees and their household family members, as well as the employees and household members of companies that contract with us, the following services:

• assessment
• short-term counseling for personal and work-related issues
• referrals, if requested, to outside resources
• crisis intervention
• training on work-related issues and other subjects
• management consultation
• critical incident stress debriefing

Our services are normally provided in the privacy of our EAP Professionals office. They can also be offered, if requested, at your work site, by telephone, or by e-mail.

The Harrington EAP Program is free to employees and their family members and adheres to the strictest confidentiality standards. We also offer flexible scheduling, which allows for appointments without wait. And we take pride in the high level of customer service that we offer.
