SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – July 21, 2016 – Yasser Rehman, M.D., will join The Cancer Center at Harrington in August where he will see patients for both oncology and hematology care.
Dr. Rehman is completing a fellowship in oncology and hematology at Boston Medical Center. Prior to that, he completed his residency and internship in internal medicine from Mount Sinai School of Medicine, VA Medical Center, in the Bronx, NY.
“With Dr. Rehman joining our medical staff, we are able to provide our patients with even better access to quality oncology and hematology care,” said Pam Zouranjian Connor, executive director for The Cancer Center. “He will be a great asset to our cancer center, and we look forward to his arrival.”
Dr. Rehman will join Dr. Christopher Seidler, medical director for The Cancer Center, at the 55 Sayles Street building in Southbridge. He will see existing and new cancer patients, as well as those with a variety of hematology and other blood-related disorders.
Board certified in internal medicine, Dr. Rehman received his Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (M.B.B.S.) from Khyber Medical College at the University of Peshawar, in Peshawar, Pakistan.
The Cancer Center at Harrington offers infusion therapy, radiation therapy, care management, genetic counseling, patient navigators, and nutrition counseling, among other patient care and support services. It is accredited by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons.
