Dr Belezos has been Board-certified in Internal Medicine for more than 25 years. He has extensive experience in both adult primary care as well as hospice and palliative care, and also has a particular interest in diabetes management and sports medicine.
Prior to this most recent role, Dr. Belezos served as a primary care physician at Grove Medical Associates in Auburn, MA. He has also served as part of the UMass Memorial Health medical care team in various positions in the past, including as a primary care provider early in his career, and later as director of the UMHH Hospitalist Program.
Dr. Belezos has also previously run his own private primary care practice in Southbridge, Massachusetts and served as medical director for various hospice organizations, as well as a medical consultant for the Boston Red Sox. He earned his medical degree from the University of Massachusetts Medical School in 1992 and completed a residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, MA in 1995.
