Psychiatry

Harrington has a newly renovated 24-bed inpatient Adult Psychiatric Unit, (APU) on our Webster campus located at 340 Thompson Road. The unit is designed for patients who require an inpatient level of care to address their psychiatric symptoms. Our team of specialists, including therapists and psychiatrists, provide expert diagnosis and treatment individualized for each patient.

Our team includes a medical director, nurse practitioner, social workers, nurses and mental health clinicians.

We offer a wide range of specialized inpatient services using the latest therapies, including sensory rooms and group meetings.

We work closely with the patient and his/her family and caregivers to design a comprehensive after-care treatment plan. The treatment plan may include outpatient therapy or treatment programs. The goal of treatment is to help the patient re-enter the community and live a productive life.
