SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass., Oct. 21, 2010 – Annaswamy Raji, M.D., an Endocrinologist with a subspecialty in Diabetes and Hypertension, has joined Harrington Physician Services.

“I am pleased that a physician with Dr. Annaswamy Rajis credentials is joining Harrington Physician Services,” said Kristin Morales, Executive Director of Harrington Physician Services. “There has been a need for additional Endocrinology services in our region, and Dr. Raji will help fill that need. Bringing in a full-time Endocrinologist is just another way we provide our trademark TLC – Total Local Care – to the community.”
Dr. Raji accepts most major insurances, including but not limited to Blue Cross Blue Shield, Cigna, Fallon, Harvard Pilgrim and Tufts.
Dr. Raji comes to Harrington Physician Services from Parkland Medical Center, in Derry New Hampshire, where she launched a Metabolism Center that treats patients for diabetes, obesity and other metabolic conditions.
Dr. Annaswamy Raji received her medical degree from Madras Medical University in India with high honors. She was Chief Resident, Internal Medicine, at Detroit Medical Center, Wayne State University. Dr. Raji completed a Fellowship in Endocrinology at Fletcher Allen Hospital, University of Vermont and completed an additional Fellowship in Endocrinology at Brigham and Womens Hospital in Boston. She is an Assistant Professor of Medicine, Harvard Medical Faculty, at Brigham and Womens Hospital.
