SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass., October 29, 2010 – Art will be on the walls, artists will be in the halls, and light refreshments will be served as Harrington Hospital hosts its quarterly Art Reception Thursday, December 9. The public is invited.
The Art Exhibit at Harrington will host a reception for the artists and their artwork at the hospital, 100 South Street, from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the hospital lobby on December 9. Come in through the main hospital entrance to reach the lobby.
There you will get to see all the artwork that is part of the exhibit, plus extra pieces artists have brought just for the reception. You will also get to meet the artists and talk with them about their work. Work from our September to December exhibit, as well as our December to March exhibit, will be on display.
The Art Exhibit at Harrington is part of the hospitals outreach to the community it serves. Harrington holds these exhibits four times a year, each three months in duration. The deadline to submit works to be considered for the exhibit running from December through March is November 11.
