SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass., June 1, 2009 – Thomas R. Clay, D.O., a family practice physician who has maintained a medical office in Brimfield for 30 years, has joined the Harrington Hospital family as a member of Harrington Physician Services.
“Joining Harrington Physician Services will make us better,” Dr. Clay said. “Were still here in our office at 255 East Old Sturbridge Road in Brimfield as the Brimfield Family Health Center, and were not going anywhere in the near future.”
Dr. Clay said that becoming an employed physician of Harrington Physician Services (HPS), will allow him to take full advantage of the services and support offered by both HPS and Harrington Hospital.
“Much is happening in health care and for some time I have known that we need to make considerable investments in technology such as electronic medical records,” Dr. Clay stated in a letter going out to his patients. “Joining Harrington Physician Services will allow us to do that.”
“Yes there will be changes….” the letter stated. “The signage will change to reflect Harrington Physician Services on it. You should expect the same friendly, high quality, patient-centered care as always. We hope you will join us in celebrating this new beginning!”
Dr. Clay said that his staff will remain at the location, including Nurse Practitioner Kimberly Vetal. Also at the site as part of the Brimfield Family Health Center is Dr. Paul G. Foster, M.D., a Family Practice Physician who currently is a member of Harrington Physician Services.
