SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – Amy Jaworek, M.D., has joined Harrington Physician Services (HPS) 10 N. Main Street, Charlton office as an Infectious Disease specialist.
Dr. Jaworek received her medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston. She completed her residency in Internal Medicine at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, one of the top three teaching hospitals in the state.
Dr. Jaworek also completed her fellowship at Baystate Medical Center in the Infectious Disease Division. Fellows are trained in clinical infectious diseases, microbiology, clinical research and infection control/hospital epidemiology.

Infectious diseases specialists have extensive training in all kinds of infections, including those caused by bacteria, viruses, fungi and parasites.
Dr. Jaworek will also perform inpatient consultations at Harington Hospital in Southbridge, working collaboratively with Harrington’s Infection Control Department.
The HPS Charlton medical office building also includes Family Medicine Practitioner Dr. Brenda Geddis-Comrie, Adult Primary Care provider Dr. Syed Ali, as well as Nurse Practitioner Melody Igwe.
