SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – November 30, 2011- Art will be on the walls and light refreshments will be served as Harrington Hospital and the Harrington Hospital Auxiliary host an Art Reception, Thursday, Dec. 15 in the 100 South St. campus lobby. The public is invited.
The reception will feature art by local artists currently on display in at Harrington Art Exhibit, which concludes Feb. 28, 2012. Consider a giving a unique gift from a local artist this holiday season. Fifteen percent of the proceeds of the artwork sold is donated to the Harrington Hospital Auxiliary.
The reception is from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Come in the main hospital entrance and we will guide you from the reception site to the hallways where the art is on display. There you will get to see all the artwork that is part of the exhibit, plus extra pieces artists have brought just for the reception. You will also get to talk with the artists about their work.
We are always looking for new artist to display as part of our quarterly exhibit. The Art Exhibit at Harrington is part of the hospitals outreach to the community it serves. Harrington plans to hold these free exhibits four times a year, with a new one beginning March 1, 2012.
