STURBRIDGE, Mass. – Feb. 17, 2010 – Sheryl Irwins Internal Medicine practice at 128 Main Street is expanding its hours for the local community.
Dr. Irwin, part of Harrington Physician Services, is expanding to full time patient coverage, and has added a Nurse Practitioner.
Jessica Dube, who obtained a Masters in Nursing, recently joined Dr. Irwins practice in Sturbridge. She brings a variety of specialized care to the community, including counseling visits for diabetes, weight management, smoking cessation and cholesterol reduction.
In addition, Jessica specializes in counseling for individuals with Celiac Sprue – a unique resource to the community.
“I recognize the importance of having a healthcare provider who understands the problem,” she said. Jessica has been living with Celiac Sprue for 27 years, and volunteers as a nurse at Camp Celiac in Rhode Island each summer.
Dr. Irwin and Jessica provide a personalized and accessible approach to healthcare. They take the time to get to know patients, and provide individual, thorough attention.
