SPENCER, Mass. – October 22, 2013 – Harrington HealthCare System has hired two popular Spencer Primary Care Physicians, Talal Bou-Harb, M.D., and Nicholas Fillipon, D.O., for its Harrington HealthCare at Spencer location on 118 West Main Street.
The hiring of Drs. Bou-Harb and Fillipon increases Harrington HealthCare Systems presence in Spencer, and paves the way for a comprehensive Harrington HealthCare System medical facility at the site.

Both physicians have long-established practices in Spencer. Dr. Bou-Harb has practiced there for 14 years; Dr. Fillipon for nine years.
As part of the Harrington System, both physicians will accept all major insurances, including Fallon Senior Plan.
Drs. Bou-Harb and Fillipon are pleased their patients will be able to utilize Harringtons high-quality state-of-the-art local services as well as have access to Worcester-based services when needed. Harrington HealthCare at Charlton and Harrington Hospital in Southbridge are only minutes away from Harrington HealthCare at Spencer.
Harrington HealthCare System opened its Spencer office, at the northern end of its catchment area, in March. Dr. Leonard Waice, D.O., also a Primary Care Physician, is located at the site, as is a laboratory draw station.

Future plans for Harrington HealthCare at Spencer include Diagnostic Imaging, Behavioral Health and a variety of medical and surgical specialties including Orthopedic Surgery, Cardiology and Gynecology.
Dr. Bou-Harb is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. He received his Degree in Medicine at St. Joseph University Faculty of Medicine in Beirut, Lebanon. He completed his Residency and did an Internship in Internal Medicine at St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester.
Dr. Fillipon is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine. He received his Degree in Medicine at the University of New England College of Osteopathic Medicine, and completed his Residency in Internal Medicine at St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester.
