CHARLTON, Mass, April 20, 2012 – Podiatrist Georgios P. Poniros, D.P.M., F.A.C.F.S., will join the physician panel at The Wound Care Center at Harrington, located at 10 North Main Street in Charlton.

“Were very excited to have Dr. Poniros join The Wound Care Center,” said Sue Proulx, B.S.N., R.N., Director of the Wound Care Center. “The ability to offer our patients specialized podiatry services is another way we can provide Total Local Care to our community.”
Dr. Poniros received his degree in medicine from the New York College of Podiatric Medicine. He completed his residency at St. Vincents Hospital in Worcester. He is currently employed at Auburn Podiatry, which has offices in Auburn and Webster, directly across from the Harrington HealthCare at Hubbard campus. Dr. Poniros is Board Certified in Podiatric Surgery.
The Wound Care Center at Harrington is part of Harrington HealthCare at Charlton and is the site of the only Wound Care Center in the region with hyperbaric oxygen chambers. For more information, please visit harringtonhos.wpengine.com.
