SOUTHBRIDGE, Mass. – March 24, 2011 – The Cancer Center at Harrington is excited to announce an upcoming fund-raising event featuring salon services at great prices.
Bella Mia Salon and Spa in Sturbridge will volunteer their time to host “Cuts for a Cure” on Sunday, April 10 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. inside The Cancer Center at Harrington (55 Sayles Street, adjacent to the main Harrington Hospital campus building in Southbridge). The event is an opportunity to raise money for anyone with cancer or undergoing cancer treatment.
“Were so grateful to have the support of Bella Mia Salon for this event,” said Diane Becquart, Director of The Cancer Center at Harrington. “This is a great opportunity to come pamper yourself while knowing the money youre donating is going toward those in need.”
“Cuts for a Cure” is offering $10 haircuts, chair massages at $1 per minute, and $4 hand massages with moisturizer. All appointments are first come, first serve. All proceeds will benefit The Cancer Center.
